The trip to Seville was fantastic since we got a chance to visit all of the major attractions of this beautiful city. The Royal Palace, the huge cathedral and the water gardens were exceptional and all well worth the long bus ride there.
One of the coolest things that we came across was Christopher Columbus' huge coffin.
This was the first trip where I became close to the students that were in the same program, so Seville has a special place in my heart.
Next time I go, I'll have to get a straight razor shave from the barber of Seville, Sweeney Todd.
We went to Dorne
One of my favorite shows is HBO's Game of Thrones and I got an opportunity to visit one of the filming locations while in Seville.
For my fellow Game of Thrones fans, in season 5 the show began to depict the southern region of Westeros, Dorne.
Most of the filming was done in the Royal Water Gardens of Seville and, for a hefty admission cost, I got to walk through Dorne in real life.
My dear friends who I met on this trip, Anthony and Brittany, still talk about seeing this location long after we left this small part of Westeros.
